We are looking to fill a Capital Engineer position working as a full-time employee of Parexel FSP on long-term assignment onsite at one of our clients located in West Point, PA. This position offers full benefits, sick time, 401K, paid holidays, and paid time off. This position does not offer any sponsorship.
Responsibilities
Execution and management of capital projects
Purchase, installation, and qualification of equipment
Execution and coordination of changes to equipment or facility, including cross-functional project teams
Authoring and reviewing GMP documentation like SOPs and change management
Managing the purchase, installation, and qualification of equipment
The role includes:
Scheduling delivery of equipment
Scheduling internal work orders for installing the equipment
Coordinating with Merck engineers on qualification timing and location
Vendor management
Scheduling vendor work
Escorting vendors
Completing Lock Out/Tag Out activities for utilities (management of safety issues)
Entering equipment information into the electronic GMP documentation system
Conducting safety reviews internally on new equipment
Managing applicable change controls
Qualifications
Capital Engineer: BS in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering with 2-5 years of experience
Senior Capital Engineer: BS in Chemical Engineering of Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years of experience
Required Skills and Experience
Authoring and/or reviewing GMP documentation like SOPs and change management
Strong communication skills
Ability to multi-task across multiple projects
