Job Description
We're looking for an in-house language professional dedicated to producing high-quality translations, providing interpreting support, and using their skills in an international setting. You might be the language expert we're looking for.
Hybrid work - Office is located in Lotte Tower, Seoul
- Translating clinical trial/medical documentation as well as business correspondence and technical documents pertaining to the activities of company departments
- Localizing and customizing translations to meet regulatory requirements
- Editing, proofreading, and review of translated documents
- Developing translation templates for routine/standard documentation
- Acting as an interdepartmental liaison in matters related to the editing and review of translated documents
- Interpreting at meetings/conferences, if required
Qualifications
- University degree in Foreign Languages (English) / Linguistics (major in Translation and/or Interpreting Studies is a plus)
- Professional training and/or certification in Translation is a plus
- Hands-on experience in English - Korean translation
- Medical & healthcare translation experience is a plus
- C2 level in English and top-level communicative competence in Korean
- Strong writing skills; excellent grammar and spelling
- Proficiency in Microsoft Applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to use CAT tools
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task
- Attention to detail, ability to provide accurate and complete translations
