Our client, is looking for Network Engineer to work at Kansas City, KS. You will be working at their Manufacturing facility

Duration: 11 months to begin with
Pay range: $50-$52 per hour
Must be willing to rotate shifts between first and second shifts.
Manufacturing Site Support Analyst / LAN position has on-site support responsibility for all IT related functions by performing activities pertaining to information technology and business unit objectives in Manufacturing Facility. More specifically, this role will perform tasks requiring on-site support for basic and intermediate level requests for applications, IT devices, maintain & configure network devices and infrastructure support per the responsibilities listed. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is required.
Other responsibilities will include desktop support, application support, and computer room operations support.
Must be able to climb ladders and work at heights.

Summary:
The main function of a Network Engineer is to determine user requirements and design specifications for computer networks. A typical network engineer is responsible for planning and implementing network upgrades.
Job Responsibilities:
• Adjust network sizes to meet volume or capacity demands
• Communicate with customers, sales staff, or marketing staff to determine customer needs
• Coordinate network operations, maintenance, repairs or upgrades
• Design, build, or operate equipment configuration prototypes, including network hardware, software, servers, or server operation systems
• Determine specific network hardware or software requirements such as platforms, interfaces, bandwidths, or routine schemas
• Develop and implement solutions for network problems
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required
• 5-7 years’ experience required
• Network/systems administration/related work experience required
• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification a plus
• Knowledge of computer hardware as it relates to data storage
• Knowledge of computer software, such as configuration management software, desktop communications software, operating system software and internet directory services software
Travel:
Minimal travel needed. May need to travel to sister site for training.
