Our client is located in Arkansas and is a global leader in the industrial manufacturing industry They are seeking a new Robotics Automation Technician to join their team. this is a newly created role. As a Robotics Automation Technician, you will be part of the engineering department supporting various manufacturing equipment and robotic production lines. The ideal candidate will have at least 3-5 years manufacturing experience, minimum 2 years in robotic programming and automation maintenance plus strong Program Logic Controls (PLC programming) experience.

Role Core Responsibilities
- Robotic Systems Maintenance and Troubleshooting (Motoman, ABB and Fanuc)
- Automation programming and maintenance for grinding and polishing robots
- Robotic programming and maintenance for welding robots
- PLC programming and electrical systems design. (Allen Bradley and Siemens)
- Utilize SolidWorks for mechanical design projects
- Troubleshoot equipment and process issues in collaboration with engineering
- Support new equipment installations on the production line.
- Troubleshoot PLCs for welding fixtures and stamping dies.
- Support preventative maintenance plans for all new automation equipment.
Preferred Experience
- 2-5 years in a manufacturing environment
(industrial would be ideal but not required), working in a similar capacity. You may have started your career in equipment maintenance or as a maintenance technician and then moved into this area of maintenance - 2 years minimum experience in Robotics and Automation Maintenance within a manufacturing environment, such as steel fabrication/automotive or an automated environment.
- Must be able to perform robotic maintenance used for ARC/Laser welding and soldering.
- It is essential to this role that your proficiencies are in robotics, PLCs, Control Logic and Programming.
- Knowledge of PLC programming and electrical systems design. (Allen Bradley and Siemens)

Knowledge of Robotics (Motoman, ABB and Fanuc etc) However To get more specific, our client needs a hands-on person to support Robotic welding systems, preferably, Yaskawa / Motoman welding robotic systems. If material handing robotics are in the candidates past experience, they will definitely consider that applicant.
- Experience with 3D mechanical design software such as SolidWorks or NX would be a bonus
- Previous SAP/ERP software experience would be helpful
- Ability to work collaboratively with maintenance, production, and quality teams.
