As a vital member of the production planning department, you will support the manufacturing operations by ensuring efficient scheduling, inventory management, and production flow. Job Title: Production Planner & Master Scheduler
Location: Arkansas
Pay Range: $85,000 - $100,000 + Discretionary Bonus & Robust benefits package supporting your health and well-being.
Vacation package: 3 weeks plus 11 federal holidays
Relocation allowance: Yes discretionary depending on candidate locations
Reporting to: Materials Manager -dotted line to Controller
Key Responsibilities - Develop and manage feasible production schedules for finished goods and components costings/volume to meet customer demand.
- Calculate resulting requirements for raw materials, purchased parts and packaging supplies based on MRP methodology.
- Collaborate with production managers to balance supply and demand, issuing work orders and scheduling subcontractors within the master schedule.
- Weekly master production schedule, analyzing key metrics such as Customer Service Level and Schedule Stability.
- Audit Item Master for inventory accuracy.
- Coordinate rework, preventive maintenance, and die trials into the production schedule.
Candidate Qualification & Experience Needed - Bachelor's in accounting or Bachelor's of Science degree in Business or related field;
- APICS certification is a plus
- Must have SAP experience-Must be Proficient in SAP and MRP systems
- Must have Automative Scheduling Experience- 830 and 862 forecast and scheduling
- Must have Strong Excel competency-advanced skill level a plus
- Automotive industry experience is highly preferred
- 5-8 years of experience in manufacturing and/or materials management, with at least two years in materials management.
- Experience in JIT and subcontracting processes.
- Strong analytical skills and experience in developing sales and operating plans.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to train others effectively on SAP would be a plus.
