Overview
The Engagement Manager is responsible for the transactional project management of tactical projects, with no account management duties. This role focuses purely on ensuring that tactical projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in line with contractual obligations. The Engagement Manager plays a crucial role in coordinating internal teams, managing timelines, and maintaining high-quality project execution.
Responsibilities
- Project Management: Oversee the planning and execution of tactical projects using tools such as Monday.com to manage timelines, tasks, and deliverables. Ensure all project details are aligned with the contract and delivered efficiently.
- Delivering Excellence: Partner with internal teams to ensure all project deliverables are met, using a "right-first-time" approach to achieve excellence in project execution.Agile Project Management: Apply agile project management methods, focusing on iterative development, flexibility, and continuous collaboration to adapt to changing project requirements and deliver value efficiently.
- Process Optimization: Contribute to process improvements that enhance operational efficiency and streamline workflows across tactical projects, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
- Resourcing: Collaborate with the Resourcing Portfolio Coordinator to ensure the right resources are allocated to projects, aligning with the costing model for maximum efficiency and profitability.
- Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all project documentation is accurate and in line with internal processes and compliance requirements. Use systems for accurate reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or a related discipline
- Minimum of 2 years of project coordination experience, ideally within life sciences, clinical trials, or related industries
- Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies
- Familiarity with GCP and regulatory requirements
- Working in a cross functional environment, with experience of leading studies to completion
