Overview
We are seeking an experienced Statistician to join our FSP team to support one of our fantastic and well-known global pharmaceutical clients, at Senior/Principal level. We are looking for someone who is bright, adaptable – an individual that possesses excellent communication and relationship building skills.
The successful candidate will perform exploratory statistical analysis for assigned clinical studies and provide deliverables to support decision making and publications.
This position will be full-ime and fully remote (or hybrid/office based, depending on your location).
Responsibilities
- Provide statistical support in the design, analysis, and interpretation of translational analyses in clinical studies to enable quantitative decision making
- Contributing statistical modeling expertise to cross-functional project teams, working closely with colleagues from discovery biology, translational and clinical research, and partner lines
- Effectively working with and gleaning insights from a wide variety of data sources, from standard in-vitro & in-vivo assays to complex imaging data or sensor data
- Applying state-of-the-art data science methodologies (taken from statistics, machine learning, and AI) and fit-for-purpose statistical analysis for various projects and data types
Qualifications
- MSc or PhD in Statistics/Biostatistics or related discipline
- Strong statistical programming skills (excellent in R), capable of writing clean, documented, and reproducible analyses
- Experience with Tidyverse
- Experience in an academic setting working with multiple principal investigators
- An understanding of translational and clinical (SDTM/ADaM) data formats
- Ability to work independently on complicated datasets, including all aspects of data analysis (data cleaning, algorithm development, statistical analysis, and documentation)
- Experience with mixed effects modelling
- Excellent communication skills and strong collaboration skills
- Strong planning/organizational skills; ability to manage multiple deliverables and deadlines
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
