Join Us as a Clinical Data Managemnet Programmer I - Make an Impact at the Forefront of Innovation
The Clinical Data Managemnet Programmer I works with clinical data management systems and programming tools to provide programming support in data management activities and deliverables including, but not limited to, database development and data validations. The role involves working within a multi-disciplinary project team to complete assigned tasks on time and within budget.
What You'll Do:
• Perform tasks following within the timelines established by the team, in accordance with the process outlined in the departmental procedures and indicated by the project contract.
• Define and import data into the system.
• Define, create and test listings for data review.
• Research and leverage resources to resolve issues and manage simple to moderate tasks through the development and application of new knowledge and/or professional skills.
• Increase knowledge base and professional skills in areas including programming and technology.
• Support a multidisciplinary team and may begin to assist with some lead programming activities with oversight.
• Ensure adherence to departmental working practice documents and SOPs, and contribute to informal training materials.
Education & Experience Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification
• Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 0 to 2 years’).
Years of experience refers to typical years of related experience needed to gain the required knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the essential functions of the job. Years of experience are not to be used as the only determining factor in establishing the job class or making employment selection decisions.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
• Good written, verbal and computer skills
• Good attention to detail and problem solving skills
• Good organizational skills with the ability to adapt and adjust to changing priorities and manage assignments to deadlines
• Knowledge of one or more programming languages or knowledge of relational database systems (RDBMS) and structure
• Capable of maintaining a high degree of confidentiality with clinical data and client's proprietary data
• Capable of attaining, maintaining and applying a working knowledge of GCPs and applicable SOPs
• Capable of working well with others
• Demonstrated initiative and motivation.
Working Conditions and Environment:
• Work is performed in an office environment with exposure to electrical office equipment.
• Occasional drives to site locations with occasional travel both domestic and international.
