Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Group Financial Controller to join our fantastic Finance team. Reporting directly to the CFO, the Group Financial Controller owns the integrity of the Group’s financial reporting, controls and cash. The role leads the month-end close, year-end audit, tax and treasury agenda, and cashflow forecasting, parts of the annual budget, and reforecast cycles, while partnering with the CFO on M&A, value creation and commercial contracting. Leading the financial control team through three direct reports, the postholder combines technical accounting rigour with a commercial focus on cash, working capital, margin and value creation.
This a full-time and permanent position. The successful candidate must be based in the UK and the role can be remote or hybrid.

Qualifications
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with significant post-qualification experience in a multi-entity, multi-currency group (essential)
- Proven ownership of month-end close and delivery of the year-end audit for a multi-entity group
- Strong budgeting, forecasting and cash flow experience
- Experience in services business, ideally in a private equity-backed or high-growth business
- M&A experience covering due diligence, acquisition accounting and integration
- Working knowledge of UK and international corporation tax, transfer pricing and interest deductibility rules
- Experience of leading, managing and developing a finance team
- Advanced Excel and strong systems skills; ERP and consolidation tool experience an advantage
