Our client, a leading organization in the technology sector, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Database Administrator to join their team. As a Database Administrator, you will be an integral part of the IT department supporting critical database operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to database management, aligning seamlessly with the organization’s commitment to excellence and innovation.

Location: Remote
Duration: 3+ months with possible extension / conversion
Work Authorization: Due to client contractual requirements, only U.S. Citizens are eligible for this role.
What's the Job?
- Provide Level 3 production support for MS SQL Server environments, acting as the final escalation point for complex incidents and ensuring database availability, performance, and security.
- Perform SQL Server installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades (2016+).
- Conduct performance tuning, query optimization, and root cause analysis to maintain optimal database performance.
- Support high availability and disaster recovery solutions such as Always On, Clustering, and Log Shipping.
- Manage backup, restore, and disaster recovery processes to safeguard data integrity and availability.
What's Needed?
- 8+ years of MS SQL Server DBA experience in mission-critical production environments.
- Strong expertise in TSQL, performance tuning, and high availability/disaster recovery solutions.
- Experience with SQL Server 2016 or later versions.
- Ability to provide advanced escalation support and troubleshoot complex database issues.
- U.S. citizenship is required for this role.
