Our client, a leading organization in the technology and data management industry, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Teradata Database Administrator (Charlotte, Jacksonville, Plano) to join their dynamic team. As a Senior Teradata Database Administrator, you will be an integral part of the Data Operations Department supporting enterprise-wide data solutions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to database management, aligning seamlessly with the organization’s commitment to innovation and excellence.

What's the Job?
- Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to design, implement, and support Teradata database environments.
- Provide consulting services, support change implementations, and address work requests from application and operational teams.
- Offer on-call support for Teradata production environments to ensure system stability and performance.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to processes, tools, and problem resolution techniques.
- Support application DBA functions including DDL creation, SQL scripting, and change deployments, while participating in disaster recovery and storage management practices.
What's Needed?
- 10+ years of experience as a Teradata DBA, with familiarity with Teradata V17.20 or higher.
- Advanced knowledge of Teradata RDBMS at both physical and logical levels, including tools like Teradata Studio, TDWM, BTEQ, ARCMAIN, and others.
- Proficiency in Unix/Linux scripting languages such as KSH, BASH, and PERL.
- Experience with Mainframe interfaces, job schedulers like CA-7 and AutoSys, and replication technologies such as Golden Gate.
- Familiarity with cloud concepts, Hadoop, project management tools, and automation solutions like Agile, Remedy, and Ansible.
