Our client, a government agency specializing in information technology, is seeking a Security Analyst to join their team. As a Security Analyst, you will be part of the Department of Children and Families supporting the Bureau of Information Technology Services. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to cybersecurity, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?
- Advise on policies and procedures to implement web application security into application designs
- Identify and implement secure infrastructure design and configurations
- Utilize vulnerability scanning and management tools including SAST and DAST
- Research and develop cyber threat prevention strategies and standards
- Develop and follow processes during cyber-attacks, actively participating in incident response
What's Needed?
- Working knowledge of the State of Wisconsin technical infrastructure
- Experience working with Department of Children and Families (DCF) Bureau of Information Technology Services (BITS) and data center specialists
- Deep understanding of vulnerability management tools such as SAST and DAST
- Ability to research and implement cyber threat prevention designs and standards
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams
