Our client, a leading organization in the industry, is seeking a dedicated IT Systems Engineer to join their dynamic team. As an IT Systems Engineer, you will be an integral part of the IT department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: IT Systems Engineer
Location: Dallas, TX (REMOTE)
What's the Job?
- Lead and collaborate on IT disaster recovery initiatives to improve internal services for stakeholders.
- Create dashboards and reports using tools such as PowerBI, Splunk, and Monday.com to monitor and enhance IT processes.
- Document and track enhancements in Business Continuity modules within ServiceNow and other project management tools.
- Develop business cases and implement automation tools and AI solutions to streamline disaster recovery practices, reduce risks, and increase resilience.
- Provide technical support for IT Disaster Recovery Self-Service projects and participate in adopting new technologies and best practices.
What's Needed?
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a related role.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum framework; Certified Scrum Master preferred.
- Knowledge of SRE/DevOps practices for automating workflows and streamlining operations.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as scripting, Power Automate, and AI tools.
