As a KDOL - IT Programmer (Java, Red Hat, PostgreSQL), you will be part of the IT department supporting enterprise-level unemployment insurance systems. What's the Job?
- Develop, modify, and maintain Java application components under the guidance of senior developers.
- Write, test, and debug code for enterprise UI applications following established standards.
- Implement enhancements, defect fixes, and technical tasks within defined scope and guidance.
- Support application deployments and perform post-deployment verification activities.
- Support Linux-based environments (Red Hat Enterprise Linux) for development and troubleshooting.
What's Needed?
- Associate degree, technical certificate, or completion of a recognized technical training or bootcamp program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Hands-on training or experience in Java application development, including coursework, internships, or labs.
- Basic knowledge of Linux command-line operations and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience working with PostgreSQL or similar databases, including writing queries and data access logic.
- Ability to follow established development standards, security policies, and Agile SDLC practices.
